Hand crafted in 18 carat yellow gold featuring Western Australian chrysoprase and pastel pink sapphires.

These earrings started as a piece of chrysoprase rough from Nicky'scollection, bought from an American collector and shipped back home. Experimenting with different cuts, Nicky sliced the piece in half, which created a translucent soft, butterfly-like effect, with a gentle colour shift from green to blue and back again, and clear inclusions. He then cut in-turned corners to soften the long straight lines of the chrysoprase.

The stones are complemented with the richness of 18-carat yellow gold, and the softness of pastel pink Ceylon sapphires cut into a georgian heart shape. The pinks make the greens and blues of the chrysoprase pop, creating a striking yet harmonious contrast.
